Riders and Tractors
  • Open hood, clean engine compartment and top of deck with compressed air.
  • Inspect air and fuel filter elements.
  • Remove corrosion from battery terminals and cable clamps, check battery.
  • Inspect and replace spark plug.
  • Warm up engine, replace oil and filter.
  • Remove mower blades, clean bottom of mower deck.
  • Grind and sharpen mower blades.
  • Balance mower blades.
  • Lube front axle pivot points, lube deck spindles.
  • Check tire pressures, adjust as needed, level mower deck.
  • Check all tractor and deck belts.
  • Tested overall operation of mower. Check safety features.

Walk Behind Mowers
  • Clean mower with compressed air, removing clippings and debris.
  • Warm engine, change oil and filter if applicable.
  • Inspect air filter element.
  • Lube rear axle bearings.
  • Inspect and replace spark plug.
  • Clean underside of mower deck.
  • Remove and sharpen mower blade.
  • Balance mower blade.
  • Clean debris from engine cooling fins.
  • Clean and check fuel cap vent.
  • Check blade brake clutch operation.
  • Test overall operation of mower, check safety features.
