Hogan Walker LLC Purchases Ehler's Lawn & Recreation of Elburn, IL

Hogan Walker is pleased to announce that it has purchased the John Deere Dealership, Ehlers Lawn & Recreation located in Elburn, Illinois. Ehlers provides Consumer and Commercial Equipment to its trade area. The transition date is set for June 10.

The acquisition of Ehlers is part of Hogan Walker’s long term goal of growing its business through the expansion of its trade area and at the same time increasing the market penetration within that same area. Hogan Walker currently has contracts to sell and service John Deere Agricultural, Residential and Commercial Lawn Equipment, and Commercial Worksite Products. The Company is also the exclusive provider for John Deere Scraper Tractors and Pans in the Chicagoland area and is the Commercial Sprayer Dealer for Northern Illinois.

Hogan Walker LLC was formed in December of 1997 after the merger of Hogan Implement Company and Walker Sales, Inc. Both of the former Companies were founded in 1973. This makes 2008 the 35th anniversary as a John Deere Dealer for the concern. Other Hogan Walker dealerships are located in Dwight, Manteno, Somonauk, Morris, and Watseka, Illinois.

Hogan Walker is proud to inherit the knowledgeable sales, parts and service staff from Ehlers Lawn & Recreation.
