Brian Walker Brian has been involved with his father’s business since he was a young boy. Dick Walker started Walker Sales, Inc. in 1973, one year after Brian was born. While growing up, Brian worked for his father doing anything from cleaning combines to setting up lawn mowers to delivering equipment. While attending Morris High School, Brian decided that he would like to get an engineering degree. He attended Valparaiso University from 1990 to 1994 where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for two years in the Chicago area where he designed parts for the railroad industry. In 1996 Brian made the decision to come back to Morris to begin developing a strategy to partner with his father. After spending some time in the parts and service departments, Brian began selling equipment. Following the merger with the Hogan’s and the purchase of the dealership in Somonauk, Brian became the Store Manager of Somonauk. In late 2001, it was announced that Brian purchased Dick’s share of the business. Brian is currently the Store Manager at Somonauk and the Sales Manager of Hogan Walker’s five locations. He is currently living in Morris with his wife Lisa. They enjoy camping with their two children Kayla and Kyle. |
